Ulta has testers of those higher-end products, so you can swatch several on your cheek/jaw/neck (look up how to swatch foundations and you'll see what I mean) and then go outside and take some pictures or look in a compact mirror and look at what one oxidizes less. The bad thing: you probably can't take home a pile of them all at once. The good thing with samples: you can see how it oxidizes (that's the turning orange thing). They'll send you home with some samples, but they'll really push you to buy their higher-end products. Sephora has that Pantone Color IQ thing, but it's apparently not very good and it mismatches people all the time. Ulta associated DO carry drugstore brands, but they don't have any testers and it'll mostly be a guess based on the Sales Associate's experience, which can be hit or miss. In fact, if you're looking for drugstore foundations, Sephora won't carry any of them and thus won't be able to match you to any of those. The brand that you're currently using is a brand Sephora won't carry, and it's also a brand that Ulta won't have testers for. That said, I've never been able to get matched at Ulta, either. I don't have a Sephora nearby at all (closest is out of my state, even), so I've never been inside one.
